In order to place an emphasis on the health of the students, the health committee was initiated in MNMNI. It takes care of the health needs of the students by conducting health checkup, maintenance of health records and availing of sick leave for students who are in need. Students of health professions are at high risk of hepatitis B Virus (HBV) infection during their clinical training. All the Nursing students from MNMNI is pro Hepatitis-B Vaccine to protect the student.
The students have the right to basic amenities, whereas the college must provide essential amenities such as clean and functional toilets, safe drinking water, clean surroundings and necessary information on sanitation and hygiene. Consequently, inculcation of Swachh habits is a responsibility of the educational institutions. Manner inculcation is conceivable through experience and practice. Therefore, MNMNI has constituted Sanitation and Hygiene Committee, for the welfare of the Institution.

- To conduct the health screening programme for students.
- To provide facilities for the students during their sickness. To undertake the regular reviews of health committee activities.
