A. SWAMI VIVEKANANDA MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
The cost of nursing education can be a significant barrier for many students. Recognizing the importance of fostering talent in this field, government offer scholarships specifically designed to support students in their pursuit of nursing education.
West Bengal Higher Education Department provides Swami Vivekananda Scholarships to the meritorious students.
CRITERIA
- Student who scored at least 60% and above on the last board examination.
- Students who are enrolled in the first year of the (GNM) & B.Sc. Nursing
- The student’s Gross Annual Family Income does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000.
B. MONIDIPA SCHOLARSHIP
To enable the female students who have an intense desire to take up nursing as a profession and had to go to places far away from their native places to achieve their dreams, the Mathura Nath Memorial Nursing Institution has embarked to offer MONIDIPA SCHOLARSHIP to the deserving candidates from the Mathura Nath Memorial trust every year.
CRITERIA
- Student who scored at least 95% and above on the last board examination and 90% in case of SC/ST.
- Students who are enrolled in the first year of the (GNM) & B.Sc. Nursing.
- Student should be domicile of Alipurduar.
- The student’s Gross Annual Family Income does not exceed Rs. 1,50,000.
